THE ROYAL AIR FORCES ASSOCIATION [RAFA]

The RAFA was formed to carry out welfare work in aid of ex-servicemen and women of the air forces of the UK and of the Commonwealth. Its main sourc of funds for this work is the Battle of Britain, Wings Appeal which is held in the town on the nearest Saturday to Battel of Britain Day, the 15th of September.

The Northwich Branch of this Association meets every 4th Monday in the month for a chat and to hear presentations by members of the flying fraternity.

The Branch is also historically associated with the Roberts Bakery family and the Bakery Band regularly holds a fund raising concert around about the same time of the year. Why not come to the concert to help our funds and to listen to one of the premier brass bands in Britain? You will be amazed at the range of music played including traditional brass band numbers, classics, music from popular shows and some very impressive modern s and jazz. The standard of playing is superb
